Blockchain iot architecture
Blockchain, IoT, and AI are key technologies driving the next wave of the digital transformation. We argue that these technologies will converge and will allow for new business models: Autonomous agents i. We further argue that this convergence will drive the development of such autonomous business models and, with it, the digital transformation of industrial corporations. Today, blockchain technology, internet of things IoT , and artificial intelligence AI are recognized as innovations that have the potential to improve current business processes, create new business models, and disrupt whole industries.

IIT Madras: Advanced Certification in Software Engineering for Cloud, Blockchain & IoT
Internet of Things IoT plays a very important role in every field. With increase in its features it is almost used in every sector. As it is used everywhere so key elements of security are very much critical components which are to be preserved. For formulating these concepts, a new technology called blockchain can be used. In order to have secure transaction between various items, this technology is tremendously used without involving any third party. In this paper, we present introductory part of IoT enabled with blockchain, their key features, architecture layout, characteristic features of both the technologies, their futuristic solutions for different real-world problems, different communicational models etc.
Both the technologies possess a number of characteristic features in every field but certain limitations too exist which gives futuristic direction for research.

HashCash to Build IoT on Blockchain Architecture for Spanish Supply Chain Company
View at publisher. Blockchain is a promising technology for establishing trust in IoT networks, where network nodes do not necessarily trust each other. Cryptographic hash links and distributed consensus mechanisms ensure that the data stored on an immutable blockchain can not be altered or deleted. However, blockchain mechanisms do not guarantee the trustworthiness of data at the origin.
Blockchain, service-centric networking key to IoT success
Internet of Things Vulnerabilities. The Current IoT Architecture. Integrating Blockchain and IoT. Using blockchain as the underlying architecture for the Internet of Things IoT could bring increased security and privacy to IoT devices. By Cryptopedia Staff. The Internet of Things IoT refers to a network of internet-connected devices that transfer data back and forth, adding efficiency and convenience to everyday tasks. But with this convenience comes serious concerns regarding privacy and security because of the centralized nature of these networks.
2. Block Chain and IoT Architecture
Then we have the second generation of blockchains like Ethereum. These blockchains add an additional layer of terms and conditions in the form of smart contracts. Smart contracts have enabled easy voting, verification of identities, smooth transaction eliminating the intermediaries and a lot more. Next, we have the third generation of blockchains.
Blockchain for IoT security — a perfect match
Kauffman , Jan Damsgaard. N2 - Consumers often lack information about the origin and provenance of the products they buy. They may ask: Is a food product truly organic? Or, what is the origin of the gemstone in the ring I purchased? They also may have sustainability concerns about the footprint of a product at the end of its life. Producers and sellers, meanwhile, wish to know how longitudinal tracking of the provenance of products and their components can boost their sales prices and after-market value, and re- veal new business opportunities.
IoT Architecture and Systemic Challenges
Digitization and automation have engulfed every scope and sphere of life. Internet of Things IoT has been the main enabler of the revolution. There still exist challenges in IoT that need to be addressed such as the limited address space for the increasing number of devices when using IPv4 and IPv6 as well as key security issues such as vulnerable access control mechanisms. Blockchain is a distributed ledger technology that has immense benefits such as enhanced security and traceability. Thus, blockchain can serve as a good foundation for applications based on transaction and interactions. IoT implementations and applications are by definition distributed.

HashCash to provide a blockchain and IoT combined architecture for a Spanish supply chain company replacing their legacy systems. HashCash is to replace its legacy infrastructure with IoT-on-Blockchain architecture. Supply chains , today, have evolved into highly complex value networks comprise a vital element of competitive advantage. However, it is plagued by a series of challenges. It is turning increasingly difficult to verify the source of raw materials and maintain visibility of products and merchandise while they are traveling through the value chain network.
Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences volume 10 , Article number: 9 Cite this article. Metrics details. With the advancement of Information and Communication Technology ICT and the proliferation of sensor technologies, the Internet of Things IoT is now being widely used in smart home for the purposes of efficient resource management and pervasive sensing. In smart homes, various IoT devices are connected to each other, and these connections are centered on gateways. The role of gateways in the smart homes is significant, however, its centralized structure presents multiple security vulnerabilities such as integrity, certification, and availability. To address these security vulnerabilities, in this paper, we propose a blockchain-based smart home gateway network that counters possible attacks on the gateway of smart homes. The network consists of three layers including device, gateway, and cloud layers.
