Between Apple's Podcasts app and apps from third-party developers, there are several ways to listen to podcasts on your Apple Watch without your iPhone nearby. The Apple Watch app on an iPhone is capable of syncing podcast episodes directly to the Apple Watch app. Open the Apple Watch app on the iPhone. Go to the My Watch tab. How do I manually update my podcast?

Spotify is more of an up and coming directory, but given their popularity in the music streaming world, their directory is quickly growing and gaining popularity. Below, we've gone through the steps for submitting your podcast to Spotify so that you can increase your visibility. It may take as long as days to appear on Spotify, but most podcasts appear within just a few hours. Spotify does not contact you when your podcast has been added though, so you'll have to keep an eye on the Spotify podcast listings yourself.

iTunes: Click on “File” in the top left menu. Downcast: Tap “Add” on the bottom bar, press “Add Podcast Manually” and in the “Feed” field paste the URL.
