I found nothing wrong with the accommodation. Staff very helpful. Hostel closes for a period of time in the afternoon. Great budget accommodation close to the historic core of Armagh city. Plenty of car parking available and a short walk from the main bus station. Really good alternative to Belfast. Bed was really comfortable also onsite kitchen was big.
Room was comfortable, spacious facilities, quiet area. My charger did not fit into the wall because the are set very low, so make sure you have something that plugs in straight and not from underneath!
Staff was super friendly, view was incredible, and the hostel was clean and quiet. I was able to drop my bags off early and then come back to check in, which was great. It was a walkable distance from Emain Macha and the rest of Armagh. Room was large Plenty of parking would stay again.
Good room. Staff were amazing from the moment I walked in, showed me to the room, explained the facilities and on knowing the reason for my stay were able to offer lots of advice that turned out to be very useful. Could have done with washing up liquid in the kitchen. Good view from room. Free wifi. Can cook your own meals. Great accommodation for a great rate very close to where we needed to be.
Could probably have provided an in house towel and shower mat for this type of room. But to be fair it is a hostel. Excellent Ivalue for twin room. Also very central to the majority of tourist attractions ,shops ,services etc. Very helpful friendly staff.
Overall it's really a good place to stay and these remarks are coming from an older person. I would stay here again if I am in the area. The staff were fabulous. Basic but clean and comfortable. Good value with car parking and good kitchen and lounge facilities. Would definitely stay again. To let visitors know about the towel rental facilities, although not a problem in our case. Central location, all facilities available at a decent rate as all youth hostels should be.
Staff very helpful and provided us with everything we needed. No complaints. No, everything was great. There was a small party of overseas students the first night, staying on a different floor to us; they were gone by 7am the next morning.
There was a soft seating area and TV, a quiet room, again with soft seating. We had a small problem with the cold water in our room, reported it and it was fixed immediately. Very clean and relaxed place to stay. Staff are helpful and friendly. Nice views of the hills and nice listening to the church bells chiming each hour. Beautiful historic city.
