Crypto wallet on hard drive

The resident of Newport, Wales has once again started his search for the drive and urged local city officials to let him dig through landfill sites. The man claims that he had two identical-looking hard drives and threw away the one which had the 'private key' required to access and spend the units of cryptocurrency stored on his computer while cleaning his office in A private key is a form of encryption, a digital signature that provides an algorithmic proof that the transaction was done by the owner. Bitcoin has a decentralised system operated by a network of computers. Every transaction is done through a wallet with a 'private key to encrypt and decrypt information. Slijhourd Commendable. Dec 29, 12 0 1, 0. I recently upgraded my computer and installed a new motherboard and hard drive among many things. I have the old hard drive plugged in to the motherboard, but I'm at a loss for how exactly to get my bitcoins from the old hard drive to a bitcoin wallet on my new hard drive.

I'm not sure if I'm overthinking it or not, but basically my question is this: How do I take my bitcoin wallet from my old hard drive and put it on my current hard driver SSD without losing any of the coins that I have?

It happens to all of us eventually. You try switching it off and on again and the machine fails to boot up. In short, your hard drive has failed and you now face a serious interruption to your day. And slowly it dawns on your that you had a Bitcoin wallet on that disk. And that it is worth a lot of money.

I pulled this drive and it has been sitting for a few years. How would I check if any of his bitcoins are still on the HDD?
