Regarding charging, you do get a 2 pin magnetic dock in the box, which allows charging the band easily without worrying about detaching the straps. The magnetics are strong enough to stick the band in place, but not strong enough, as you can accidentally knock off the charger.

That too with a simple yet stylish body, which is lightweight and comfortable, still I will say, Huawei could have used a better strap on this one. Huawei Band launched in India for Rs.
