'World's biggest offshore wind farm' produces first power, passing key milestone
The flood waters have receded leaving a path of debris and destruction behind and as the Bow retreats, city officials are finally getting a look at how fractured the river paths have become. Whole sections of the pathway system were ripped out in Sue Higgins Park and trails were swallowed whole in Inglewood by the rushing flood waters at the end of June.
An early estimate by the city is showing as much as 44 kilometres of bike and pedestrian paths destroyed by the floods. Parts of the pathway along Memorial Drive have been rebuilt but runner Dean O'Gorman says the damage has created a few new hazards.
The new St. Contractor's insurance will cover the costs for this bridge but the city will foot the bill for the rest of the damage. What pieces of the pathways are most heavily utilized? Can we get in and do a detour? Can we get in and reconstruct the pathway right away?

It seems to have been a profitable venture especially for those who began mining early on. It is apparently so profitable that some people have set up "bitcoin farms" in much the same way that some of us myself included have set up SETI crunching farms. High end GPU's are clearly quite expensive, and since the crunching infrastructure is already in place for myself and others, I have thought perhaps dedicating some time to bitcoin mining in order to exchange those bitcoins for hardware.
