Bitcoin Being Demonized as an Inflation Hedge, Warns Vince Lanci | Stansberry Research

"Inflation is going to be a slow and painful death unless [U.S. lawmakers] can get a handle on it," according to Vince Lanci, founder of Echobay Partners and "The Gold Fix" newsletter. When combatting the issue of inflation, Lanci tells our Daniela Cambone that, "the quicker [the Federal Reserve] gets hawkish, the quicker they will have to get dovish again." Lanci observes that Bitcoin has become sensitive to U.S. data, "increasingly over the last four months," due to the amount of investors apart of the cryptocurrency being advised by the banks. He concludes by speaking about his concerns about the demonization of Bitcoin as an inflationary hedge, as seen in the 1990's with gold.
