Canada & Crypto | CBDC Research with MIT | FREE MIT Blockchain Cryptocurrency Course | Gary Gensler

CBDC research between MIT and Canada for a digital form of Canada's fiat currency, that will be regulated by the nation's centralized monetary authority. Massachusetts Institute of Technology is also working on CBDC or Central Bank Digital Currency for USA. Other countries are also getting on board as I look into what are CBDC's and how Canada is moving forward with cryptocurrency, digital asset businesses, and addresses the question does a crypto asset constitutes a security and/or a derivative? Canada already has spot Bitcoin ETFs, before USA. Canada is a leader in adopting cryptocurrency, and it will be interesting to follow this topic.
