Cryptocurrencies are virtual, electronic money that do not have their physical equivalent in the form of banknotes or coins. The most famous cryptocurrency is Bitcoin, who was breathed by someone under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009.
Bitcoin and with it other cryptocurrencies, of which there are over 80 on the market today (eg Litecoin, Ethereum, Ripple…) are, by their very nature, based on the cashless communication that we are used to from classic internet banking.
Does this money have a chance to succeed in the 21st century?
