Digital and New Economy (DECON) Course is a hybrid course consisting of 11 sessions presented by MSS FEBUI x ILUNI FEBUI. DECON offers materials that are valuable for subsequent use in the Digital Economy era. These sessions will be brought by lecturers and moderators that are experts in their respective field, they also will be taught various highly demanded and lucrative skills and knowledge that are essential for you to become leaders in the future.

SESSION 9: Decentralized Technology - Blockchain, Crypto, GameFi & Metaverse

Blockchain and crypto technology will create decentralization, global connectivity, and revolution in various fields, especially the financial industry. This topic will discuss the history, fundamentals, and strategic uses of blockchain and crypto and how these technologies can add value to the new economy. Furthermore, Non-Fungible Token which is part of blockchain and crypto technology creates a new space for assets that are in the digital world and are based on smart contracts. This has also created a new productivity space in the game industry where NFT game assets can be used to generate economic value, also known as gamefi. Sub topics for this session are Blockchain & Crypto Assets, Decentralized Finance & NFT, GameFi & Metaverse.
